Going to the Dogs…..Random Thursday

I have become slightly obsessed with taking pictures of my dogs, yes my dogs not my kids, it is a bit sad really but the kids don’t cooperate.  Well I should say dog, as the schnauzer always sits nicely for me and even looks at the camera like she knows what is going on.  Ruby, she’s just a big black zoom on the camera more often than not and being all black with brown eyes, it’s hard to see any of her facial features so she’s about as cooperative as the kids.   I should probably use the sports mode when trying to take her photo, otherwise I end up with pictures like this and no, I did not photo shop this or alter it in any way.  Maybe cyclops would’ve been a better name.

The other day when the bub’s and I were hanging out in his bedroom, the dogs were lounging on his bed so I figured it would be a good time to snap some pics and learn more about my camera.  I did take a few pictures of the bubs too, don’t worry.

I think I could start a website where you submit pictures of your dogs with funny captions, sort of like dog shaming but not.  The one below has a Titanic or The Incredible Journey feel to it.  And the one above might be considered dog porn.

Puppy Kisses!

Is it possible for dog’s to roll their eyes at you?  I think she might be tired of the camera in her face.

Ruby doesn’t like to look most people directly in the eyes, she usually looks down or off to the side.

Heidi loves to sit like this and it cracks me up.

We tired for a group photo by the chair but Ruby wasn’t having any of it.

She has to have something in her mouth most of the time, usually it is socks but sometimes it is an actual dog toy!

I didn’t even ask them to pose this way, they just did.

These little legs just kill me.  She is like a sausage with toothpick legs.

Maybe there is such a thing as too close of a close up!
