Minimal progress was made in the sexifying of the master bedroom although the paint has done wonders for this room already and makes me super happy every time I walk in the room! I’ve been pretty neutral in my color choices for the past few years in this house and I do love having a neutral wall so I can add different colors to a room with minimal out of pocket costs and most of the house flows well together so things can move from one room to another.
I ended up picking for the wall color. The Sherwin Williams is staying on the other walls. I am as always on a tight budget when doing any room in my home. Thanks to being on a mailing list with Sherwin Williams, I got my paint for an unadvertised 30% off sale!
Adding the one dark wall added just enough moodiness to the room for me. I don’t know if accent walls are in or out but I really don’t care, I like it and that is what I always want people to remember, it’s your home, do what YOU like (unless your selling your home and then we’ll talk).
I also found this great fur throw at Homegoods this past weekend, it’s perfect at mixing the wall colors together and bonus, it is super soft and cozy!
One of my debates is what to do with the nightstands. Paint them white? Leave them gray? Sell them and buy something else? The rast from IKEA is on my list right now as a cheap/easy DIY alternative to the nightstands we currently have. I really am not sure at this point what we will do about the nightstands but otherwise I think I have pretty much everything else figured out.
I just keep bringing it back to the mood board and our vision for the room!

Your direction is so cool. I was happy when I replaced my old nightstands with the Ikea version. The height on the new one was much better for me. Good luck.
