It’s been a slow process but we are almost done with the hallway, stairway and entryway trim project. Back on Superbowl weekend (the very beginning of February) we decided to add picture frame moulding to the entryway and stairway. At the last minute we added on the upstairs hallway to our plans.
Let me take you way back, to 2011 when we bought this house and my blog had a different name.
I had already painted the banister but the flat panel oak doors and trim were still there. Here it is today, almost complete. New light fixtures, removal of the popcorn ceiling, a gallery wall and maybe new flooring. We’ll get there eventually!
We also worked on the stairway, hubby even moved two of the stairway lights but unfortunately we couldn’t move one of them to where we really wanted it to go. Good thing my man excels at math because there is no way I could have figured out how to cut the angles!
So that’s what we’ve been working on lately, isn’t it 1,000 times better? And isn’t my hubby amazing? I’m just the paint and idea girl, he makes all my visions come to life!
