Hello friends! This morning I thought it might be fun for me to answer some of the questions I ask the Blooming Bloggers. I was thinking it would be kind of fun to do this as a link party sometime as well but maybe people really don’t care about this stuff as much as I do. I always love learning random stuff from people and who they are instead of just looking at what they do. Anyways, here are my answers for what it’s worth!
What is your favorite project or room that you have done recently?
This is a hard one as I haven’t done much since we moved this summer but I will say my favorite right now is the coat rack/shelf in the entryway. We use this all the time and I love it! Now I just need to figure out how to cover up the doorbell box and the security box.
What is your favorite accent color right now?
It’s got to be GOLD! I am loving it right now and I hope it stays for a while. While browsing the lighting section at Home Depot I saw some new lights that were done in an antique brass, they were really gorgeous!
How do you balance blogging and home life? Any tips?
I am working on this and trying to find the balance. Lately I’ve been letting the bubs watch half an hour of tv as his downtime (he doesn’t nap anymore) while I try to answer email, edit photos or blog. Sometimes I read other blogs or browse pinterest as well. Otherwise I save blogging time for when the kids are in bed and the hubby is doing the dishes. Some days I spend a lot of time on the computer and other days I am hardly on at all. I hope that it all balances out in the end. My oldest daughter has said she likes when I blog so that is encouraging.
If you could vacation anywhere, where would you go and why?
Seeing as I won’t fly, it would have to be somewhere that I could drive to, maybe the Carolinas or Franklin,Tennessee. I don’t really like to be warm so warm weather is not what I crave. I do love the water though!
What is one talent you wish you possessed?
I wish I could sing. My hubby sings, plays guitar, drums, piano and probably any other insturment you hand him. He has been a worship leader at our church and I so wish I could join him up there to worship and sing. Plus it would be fun to just sing together whenever. I always hate singing and hope that the people next to me in church are tone deaf.
Favorite date night?
Anytime we get to spend time together alone is my favorite but if I had to pick a super great date night, it would involve dancing and eating something yummy, like some good Mexican and of course, chocolate. BC, we would often go out dancing and we had so much fun, I really miss that. Although maybe it’s not cool to go out dancing when you are in your 30’s and have four kids.
Do you have any New Years Resolutions?
I don’t make New Years Resolutions but if I did, it would be to do a better job with my daily devotionals. My husband loves to make New Years Resolutions and he even signs them and keeps them in his nightstand. I don’t like to be restricted or having anything too permanent so maybe that’s why I don’t make them.
Now I want to know, do you make New Years Resolutions?
this was fun to read and get to know you better! and guess what- i am with you on not liking to be warm…. my ideal vacation destination is like 65 degrees wherever it is!
and i also love your coat rack- so useful!
I make resolutions, but nothing public. That way nobody has to know if I fail. Lol
Oh Ange it's so nice to get to know you better! The balancing act is a tough one, isn't it? I need to get better at that one too.
I don't make resolutions so much as plan some goals for the year ahead. I need a list to keep me focused!!
So fun to learn more about you Ange…just makes me like you even more!
No resolutions for me either since it makes me feel like I've let myself down if I don't live up to them and considering I'm sitting here eating chocolate right now I obviously wouldn't have lasted long with a "no sugar" resolution. LOL! Keep doing these kinds of posts my friend, they are super fun!

I'm glad you answered these questions for yourself! And I couldn't be MORE in agreement on the talent question. I've always wished I could sing, and at church I just thank God that He tells us to make a joyful "noise!"
First of all How do you get your husband to do dishes? LOL Secondly everyone wishes that I could sing
and I love to dance!!! and we're in our 50's–I dance 2-3 times a week and every chance I get. We take ballroom dance lessons on Thursday night and I line dance for exercise on Mon and Tue—which I think you know from FB. You picked some great vacation spots, I used to live in Franklin and I would go back in a minute. We have a lot in common.
it is so intereting, How do you get your husband to do dishes? luckily, my husband do it everyday:)
