Blooming Blogger: Organizing Made Fun

Good Monday morning friends! I hope you all had a fantabulous weekend! We sure did with some snow, putting up our second tree and a fun night of games and food with friends, what more could you ask for? I managed to get rid of almost all the Christmas goodies we made on Thursday night so it will be time to bake some more this week, oh darn!
Today I welcome back to my blog, Becky from .

If you have never been over to Becky’s blog, let me tell you, GET OVER THERE! You are missing out on things like , , and .
I won’t post any more great links, I will just let you find the rest when you visit Becky!  Let’s get this party started peeps!
It’s that crazy time of year when we all want to pull our hair out because there is just too much to do!  What is your favorite tip for being organized during the busy Holidays?

Calendars and schedules. I have a blog schedule that I cling to everytime I start to work on blogging. I do the same with my family. I must have it all written down…but we’re still way more busy than I’d like. I’m a homebody and I don’t like being out too much. I use the Cozi Calendar on my Iphone and at home on my computer. It helps me a TON to keep organized!
Share with us your favorite room in your home and why?

My favorite room is our family room. It’s warm, inviting and full of pictures of people we love! We all congregate in there every night.

What are some of your favorite websites for online shopping?

I like both and
With kids and the busyness of life, it’s always hard to find that time alone with our spouse let alone to get a date on the calender.  Do you have a favorite date night?

Anytime spent alone with my hubby is my favorite. We have a date night, usually, once a week and when it doesn’t happen I just miss being alone with him and talking and hanging out! He’s great at picking good places to eat, too!
What is the one cleaning product you can’t live without and why?

I love Shaklee stuff! I love the Shaklee Scour Off. My favorite stuff – I don’t use anything with chemicals or bleach – I’ve got some serious allergy sufferers around her, so it has to be natural and chemical free.
What has been the biggest surprise or challenge about blogging that you have found?

It can take me 4-5 hours for each post that I put out. I wasn’t expecting this much time spent on blogging. I want it to look right and I want it to be quality, so I try not to rush. So, posting three days a week means about 12-15 hours of work for me to get those out.

What is your favorite thing about blogging?

I have made so many wonderful friends and met some amazing people. I daily receive encouraging emails from so many who struggle with organizing and have found something that encouraged them. I also have many Moms who look to me for help with their children that have autism, since we have a son with autism. What a blessing that is for me to be able to help them out.

I always love finding new blog to read and I know so do others.  Please share with us some of your favorite blogs right now.

Thank you so much Becky for sharing with us today!  Please stop over and say hi to Becky, you won’t be sorry!
I want to let you know that if you have a question for a blogger to answer, send me an email with your question(s).  I am always looking for new stuff to ask the Blooming Bloggers and want to make sure that this series is something we all enjoy!
I’ll be back later in the week to share my Christmas Mantle,  my attempt to Tablescape the dining room table and I am also doing two guest posts about Christmas.   It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!!
