Dining Room Curtains

The dining room is waiting for curtains.  I’m waiting for curtains.  I envision floral, something kind of vintage looking.

The search has been on and I finally found something that I like at Target.   Yesterday I tried the gray ones.

Then I tried the cream ones.

Here they are, together.  Someone said they thought they were Pottery Barn curtains.

Now I’ve tried them at night looking from the kitchen into the dining room.  Guess what, dog butt.

And another dog.

By the way, I love love love the color in my dining room.  I wasn’t sure when I first painted it and was thinking maybe something a little lighter in color but it makes me happy so it’s staying.

So, I love the gray because they are kind of dramatic and fun.  The cream are more subtle, classic and maybe not as “trendy.”   Stay tuned and maybe I’ll make a decision soon!

I love the cream ones. I have to see if our Target has those. Maybe they would work better than the PB ones I am trying in the basement. Good luck with your decision. I’m having the same issue in our basement.

I love the color of your dining room—and I am loving the curtains too! I am the worst curtain “picker outer”….haha. I may *need* to give these a try.

You know research has shown that blue is an appetite suppressant. Maybe I should paint my dining room blue. Love the color of yours I also love the curtains in cream. Looks great and they do actually look like Pottery Barn curtains though I am sure they are much cheaper.

I love the view from your kitchen. The pop of color from the DR walls is so fresh and happy!
Look forward to seeing what you choose….they are both pretty options!

i know you didn’t ask, but i love, love, LOVE the cream ones! when i looked i saw the curtains, your paint, and the pretty chairs–light, open, airy. With the dark curtains, i see CURTAIN. HELLO DARK CURTAIN, making the space seem small. (just my 2 cents. which matter NONE b/c it’s your house!) :) have fun and do what YOU love! :)

Either choice is pretty but I love the grey ones! I think they provide a “pop” of color against the white furniture in the dining room, tie in the black lamps on the credenza, and tie in with the grey bottom cabinets in the kitchen.

I am in love with your wall color.
I also saw your chalkboard paint backsplash. I just finished a pro job painting bricks for a mural and wanted to say you did a very nice job on your kitchen.
Strange, I have dogs walking all over my house too…I want to teach them how to vacuum.
