I need your help

Alright, I am down to window treatments in the dining room and I’ve been having a stink of a time trying to find something I like. When I picked the black and white fabric for the chairs I didn’t really think we’d do board and batten. Well, we did and now the table base and chairs are white, the walls are 2/3 white and the walls are blue/green. So I found two fabrics that I like that go well together, so do I recover the chairs with one of the new fabrics? Try and use both in this room along with the black and white chair fabric? Here are pictures of the chair fabric now with both fabrics. Let me know what you think, I’d love some feedback!!!!

I love the flower fabric. It would go well with the chairs. If you use them both you might recover the chairs and use the flower for the curtains and the other for the chairs. Hope this helps. :)

I like the floral pattern too. The other makes too many lines in the room. It breaks up the design.

    Hi Ange,

They are both such great fabrics! I would probably choose the floral fabric for curtains. I think it looks really good with the chairs and beautiful with the walls.

Hi Ange! First of all, GORGEOUS choices! But, I am going to echo what my sister said above and say Floral too. It is going to be so beautiful! :-)

I'm foor floral too, the patterned curatins look too busy with the chairs. You are so creative, love it and can't wait to see what you are doing!! Have a great Monday

I'm going to say floral just like everyone else. I love the chairs so I would not change them but the floral works with them anyway. I would add some black to the room by way of frames and then add some blue vases to your table. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Love the floral! I say keep the black and white fabric chairs! It keeps an element of surprise and ties the black buffet in!

I think you need the black, add some other element of black to the room to tie the chairs in whether on the walls or maybe some die cut saying on the wall. The floral is great for the curtains, the other is too busy. Good luck!

you need the black…look at your playroom picture with basically the fabric color for walls and then the black/white floors. Black/ white goes with everything and these days everything doesn't have to match. ;)

Hi!! I found your blog! I love the floral with the black. But I also love the other fabric as an accent fabric in some way. Use it some way in just a small amount. A table runner, reversible napkins, reversible place mats, curtain tiebacks, as a binding on napkins, etc. Love it!
