Good morning my lovely friends! I hope you had a fabulous weekend, I know I did, I just wish it didn’t go by so quickly. Can you believe it’s Monday already? Well lucky for you Mondays are a great day at this blog because that’s when I introduce you to a fabulous blog I read and love. What has been the biggest surprise for you about blogging?
Honestly, how much time it takes!!! I had no idea when I got in to blogging that it would be so time consuming…that being said, I still absolutely love it and all the cool opportunities and friends that it has brought in to my life.
Why did you start blogging?

I think my reason for starting my blog is pretty typical…I needed a getaway! Just a place to talk about only the things I love and want to talk about…*AND* to have great friends that love the same things talk about them with me!

My most recent project was my daughter’s (how awesome are those cupcakes??? I might be slightly obsessed with cupcakes…)

 

What is one gift you would like under the tree for yourself this year?

That one is EASY! I desperately need an iphone…I am one of the last people in the know universe without a smartphone…it’s getting to be really pathetic. Especially when my children will go and schmooze with their dad for the sole purpose of getting to play with his smartphone…ha!
And plus I really just need an excuse to get a fabulous iphone case (c:

This changes pretty much daily…but how could you not love this? It combines two of my favorite things: cupcakes and fashion. Perfection.

Share your favorite holiday recipe or holiday project.
Oh you are *SOOOO* going to hate me for this one because let me tell you, it is *really* addicting…you’re welcome (c:I present to you, Butterscotch Popcorn:

 

1 3.3oz bag Kettle Corn, popped and all un-popped kernels removed
1 cup butterscotch chips
6 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup karo syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees and place popped popcorn onto a large rimmed baking sheet that has been lightly sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
Place butterscotch chips, butter, brown sugar, karo syrup and salt into a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until mixture comes to a light boil. Remove from heat and pour evenly over popcorn. Gently stir to coat mixture over popcorn.
Bake in oven for 30 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes
Remove from oven and pour onto parchment paper to cool. Break into pieces and stuff your face enjoy!!!
